JILIN PROVINCE HONGTAI NEW ENERGYCO., LTD 150kt/a COAL TAR LIGHTING PROJECT

This project is one of the EPC by new-unity which included: a unit of 150kt/a coal tar lighting processing, a unit of 15000Nm³/h hydrogen production from methanol, a unit of 40kt/a asphalt, a system of storage and transportation, and an auxiliary unit. In this project, the main raw materials were the anthracene oil distilled from high temperature coal tar. And low temperature coal tar, kerosene, diesel and various distillate (such as: light oil, washing oil, carbolic oil, naphthalene oil, anthracene oil, heavy benzene, etc) from high temperature coal tar, distillate from poor quality diesel could also be processed. All those materials were going to be processed into petroleum products (N, S<10ppm) and raw materials which would be used to produce Arene. The unit has activated in Feb 2016, and all products qualities were compliant with national standards. And now the running is very well.

This unit used the third generation technology of coal tar lighting process and“NUHC-40”series of catalyst, which two technologies researched and developed independently by New-unity.
